A hard-fought six wicket victory with three balls remaining saw DC finish the season with 15 points on the standings. In the first innings, PBKS posted a commanding total of 206/8 in 20 overs. Shreyas Iyer anchored the innings with a composed 53 off 34 balls, while explosive cameos from Josh Inglis (32 off 12) and Marcus Stoinis (44* off 16) provided crucial late acceleration.
Despite some resistance from DC’s bowlers; Mustafizur Rahman (3/33) and Kuldeep Yadav (2/39), PBKS’ aggressive batting in the death overs gave them a strong advantage heading into the second half. DC responded with controlled aggression and a combined team effort as the batters contributed evenly to chase down 207.
