In the ongoing January transfer window, Kyle Walker, Manchester City captain, is going ahead with a medical in Italy after AC Milan reportedly agreed to sign a deal for him on loan for the rest of the season. The agreement includes a purchase option for the defender in the summer when the loan period expires. Walker, who has played 316 games for City, last competed for them against West Ham on January 4, following which he informed manager Pep Guardiola that he wanted to explore his options about a potential move elsewhere.

Kyle Walker has been Manchester City's right-back for many seasons, winning several championships with the club, including the Premier League and UEFA Champions League. Now, he is likely to complete a transfer to AC Milan and has landed in Italy. The 34-year-old is keen to join Italy over the Saudi Pro League, with whom he was previously linked.

Kyle Walker won multiple trophies with Manchester City after joining them in 2017

Kyle Walker had a great time with City, helping the club win 17 trophies, including six Premier League crowns and the Champions League, since arriving from Tottenham for £50 million in 2017. Sports experts feel that partying between City and Walker does make sense.

Walker may have requested to depart, but with the apparent deterioration in the England international's powers this season, there will be little resistance from club officials. A guy who has built his career on being nearly invincible in one-on-one matchups is now an easy target for opposing wide players. City has been on a purchasing spree and has completed three signings in the January transfer window, costing the club approximately £123 million.

Egypt attacker Omar Marmoush signed from Bundesliga club Frankfurt for an initial cost of £59 million on Thursday, following the arrivals of Vitor Reis from Palmeiras for £30 million and Abdukodir Khusanov from Lens for £33.6 million.
