Afghanistan Cricket Board announces 15-member squad for ICC T20 World Cup 2022

Afghanistan are scheduled to face England in their T20 World Cup 2022 Super 12 opener on October 22 at the Perth stadium.

The highly-anticipated ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia is scheduled to take place from October 22 and the Afghanistan Cricket Board has finally announced their 15-member squad for the prestigious tournament. 

Afghanistan are scheduled to face England in their ICC T20 World Cup 2022 Super 12 opener on October 22 at the Perth stadium.

All-rounder Mohammad Nabi is named the captain of the Afghanistan squad while batter  Najibullah Zadran is picked for the role of the vice-captain.  Apart from 15-member squad, Afghanistan have named  Afsar Zazai, Sharafuddin Ashraf, Rahmat Shah, and Gulbadin Naib as the standby players for the tournament.
