Former MVP Russell Westbrook reacted to Nikola Jokic’s 24th triple-double this season after the Clippers beat the Nuggets in a closely fought game on Thursday night. In the match between LA Clippers and Denver Nuggets, Jokic finished with 17 rebounds, 10 assists, and 36 points. However, Westbrook reacted to his triple-doubles after the game and made a bold claim. After the clash, Russell was approached by a reporter who asked whether his and Jokic’s triple-doubles were similar.

Speaking about Nikola Jokic’s record, he has currently recorded 129 triple-doubles in his career. While it took 1158 games for Brook to record 198 TDs, Jokic recorded 129 TDs in 670 games. Coming back to Westbrook, the Clippers point guard confronted a man sitting outside wearing a Hornets jersey when he disrespected his name during the clash against the Hornets.

Reacting to it, Westbrook said, “ Ain’t nob ody like me. Nobody like me. We’re gonna stop that right there. Nobody like me. Nikola is a hell of a player, but he’s not me, I’m not him.” The 35-year-old currently holds the record for most triple-doubles in NBA history with 198 times. Apart from this, he also holds the record for most triple-doubles in a season with 42 times in the 2016-17 season. He also won his regular season MVP award in the same season.
