But now, Ajman Cricket Council in UAE has taken a massive step forward to form a cricket league which will act as a platform for young talent to showcase their potential. Ajman T20 Cricket Cup has been launched which could act as a perfect audition stage for players who wish to play Abu Dhabi T10 League.
Parvez Khan, Ajman Cricket Council Director, said, "This tournament is designed to facilitate healthy competition and help scout UAE-based talent and dedicated cricketers of all nationalities." Former Indian cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin also attended the tournament launch event and admitted that the T20 Cup has the potential to put Ajman on world cricketing map.
