However, the most recent information indicates that Real Madrid star Fede Valverde won't be prosecuted for his alleged attack. Due to substantial contradictions in Baena's testimony, the judge engaged in the case, according to El Espanol (via Sport), has ruled that the case should be archived. Alvaro Odriozola was allegedly present during the incident, according to Baena, which is not supported by the video evidence provided by Real Madrid.
However, a final decision has not yet been made, and the 24-year-old Valverde may still receive a five-game suspension and miss Real Madrid's season-opening matches. He has not yet made any public statements regarding the event, although Baena has refuted claims that he incited an assault by making remarks about the Uruguay star's family.
