Alfa Romeo’s 2022 C42 car, which was driven by Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu, is set to be the first show car with 2022 regulations that have been put on sale. Now F1 fans can buy the 2022 official F1 show car of Alfa Romeo.

The car is available to buy on f1authentics.com, the official F1 website where the fans can buy official show cars, signed clothes and other car parts from drivers. This will be the first where a show car from an ongoing season will be sold. The website has set the price of the car with 2022 regulations at $204,616.

Only a limited number of cars are available, so fans need to make a quick booking as the car will be built by order. But fans can’t drive the C42 show car as it is designed for display purposes, with a 3D-printed steering wheel, working screen and brake lights. A week ago, Daniil Kvyat’s 2019 Toro Rosso was sold for $510,786.

Notably,  Zhou Guanyu's  contract runs out at the end of this season and he believes that there’s “no hurry” to renew his contract with the team for 2023 after Team Principal Fred Vasseur revealed the team will made a decision on Zhou's future by the end of September.

“Yeah, we're talking about it,” said Zhou. “And there's no hurry, myself and the team are very happy with each other, the job we've done so far. It wasn't an easy season, let's say, for the rookie campaign. But on my side, I'm quite happy working with everyone in the team. And yeah, we're talking about it. Nothing has been confirmed but hopefully, I get more information soon and I get it all done.”
