Bangladesh's pace bowling coach,  Allan Donald,  is set to leave his position after the Tigers' last game against Australia, scheduled on November 11 in Pune. Bangladesh has had a disappointing campaign in this year's World Cup, with just two wins, against Afghanistan and Sri Lanka.

But outside these wins, Bangladesh suffered six straight losses with massive margins. Coming back to Donald, the South African legend disclosed his decision during a team meeting in Pune on Thursday. The development was quoted in a Cricbuzz report where a  BCB official confirmed the news.

The official said,  "Yes, he (Donald) informed us that he will not carry on with us after this World Cup during the team meeting."  Donald's stint with Bangladesh cricket which started in March 2022 with the T20 World Cup as the main focus. But with impressive progress of the team's pace bowling attack, Donald's contract was extended by the BCB till the ongoing ICC World Cup.

However, during this World Cup, Donald had expressed public criticism of Shakib Al Hasan's timed-out appeal against Angelo Mathews. Hence Bangladesh Cricket Board revealed that they demanded an explanation from Donald for his outbursts.
