Scuderia Alphatauri F1 driver Pierre Gasly has recently launched his own NFT collection on the Fantom network. The Frenchman had also released a collection on the same platform last year in October. The collection included three unique 1/1 NFTs and 500 unique collectables designed by Infinity NFT’s lead artist.

Talking about the NFTs Gasly said, “I am really happy to continue my journey with Fantom and build on the success of our first NFT drop. For this second one, we wanted to launch an NFT collection that would summarize my career, and we decided to feature each of my helmet designs as unique NFTs. This way, the collection will keep building as I collaborate with designers and artists for my future helmets.”

“Hopefully, some of those NFTs will become more valuable as I progress in my career. As for the first drop, we are linking tangible collectables and VIP experience to the NFTs as we really see this as a new way to engage with the fan community and reward them for their support.”

After an average showing in Imola, Gasly now heads into the Miami Grand Prix weekend with the hope of consistent performances through the practice, qualification and the race on a new track. He said, “Looking back at Imola, Friday practice went okay, but then we didn’t do a very good job of managing the tyres on the drying track in Qualifying, so we ended up near the back.”

“From then on, we were on the back foot and then there was the collision in the Sprint that meant starting at the back again on Sunday. In the race, I was in a DRS train with Lewis behind me and a Williams in front, so it was a bit annoying.”

“I have to admit I’ve never had much luck in the Sprint races, and I’ve often been involved in some unlucky situations. We couldn’t overtake and that was it. We had some updates, but it was hard to assess them because of the conditions on track, so I’m looking forward to going to Miami to have a normal weekend with three free practice sessions, which will allow us to really do some testing and draw some conclusions, ” he continued.
