Right now he is in the ICU of the University of Navarra Clinic cared for by the best doctors and is slowly recovering very well... she is very strong."

"We don't want to stop thanking all the doctors for having been at every moment caring, understanding and very professional, each and every one of them. He took to Twitter and wrote, "Alice has left intensive care and is in a room doing much better and recovering with Bella. I am still coming to terms with what happened. "These have definitely been the worst days of my life but I’m fortunate to have you in it. You’re the best thing that has happened to me and my life without you would have no meaning.  Thank you to everyone who has been close to us and once again thank you to everyone at the University Hospital of Navarra for their delicacy and treatment."

After having an abysmal season at Chelsea, Morata again joined his former club Atletico Madrid in January 2019 and scored 22 goals in 64 appearances across all competitions.
