The much-awaited Amazon Prime Gaming has finally reached India. The company first launched its services through Twitch Prime in 2016. The service will be available to activate on the official Prime Gaming website and Amazon prime members can click "Activate Prime Gaming".

The monthly subscription cost of Amazon Prime is Rs 179, while a quarterly subscription costs Rs 459. An individual need to shell out Rs 1,499 for the annual subscription.

Players will get access to the in-game loot, free games and exclusive bundles. However, Prime Gaming will not offer a free Twitch subscription per month in India, unlike other countries. A Twitter user shared the screenshot of Prime Gaming earlier on Tuesday.

All creators are slated to be paid for Prime subscriptions to their channel as of the regular subscriptions. Moreover, if the user needs to be subscribed to a particular channel, they will need to choose their Prime subscription every month. This is due to the fact that the auto-renew feature of the Prime Channel subscriptions doesn’t auto-renew. When you claim a game, it gets stored in the Library as long you have an Amazon Prime account.  .

In the Indian version of Prime Gaming, players in the county will need to pay 110 INR for each subscription, resulting in the streamers receiving less amount of money. It also has a cascading effect on the local creators as well.
