A mbati Rayudu to join fellow Chennai Super Kings stars in the Major League Cricket as Texas Super Kings announces signings for the upcoming 2023 season. The Texas side will be coached by Stephen Fleming who has been in charge of Super Kings in the IPL and SA20.
Rayudu will join CSK stars like the Kiwi duo of Devon Conway and Mitchell Santner, along with South African batter David Miller as some key signings. Similarly, Dwayne Bravo, another Chennai Super Kings icon and current bowling coach during their IPL teams, will return as a player for the MLC competition.
Further Australian all-rounder Daniel Sams also join Texas with South African speedster Gerald Coetzee, who was the third-highest wicket-taker in the inaugural SA20 for Joburg Super Kings. The draft picks for TSK are Sami Aslam, Rusty Theron, Saiteja Mukkamalla, Milind Kumar, Cody Chetty, Calvin Savage, Zia Shahzad, Lahiru Milantha and Cameron Stevenson.
Talking about the coaching staff, Fleming will be joined by the likes of Eric Simmons and Albie Morkel as his assistants. Gregory King will be the strength and conditioning coach of the franchise while Lakshmi Narayanan has been named the side's High-Performance Analyst and Tommy Simsek will be the team’s physiotherapist. The long-time CSK manager Russell Radhakrishnan will now also be the TKS team manager.
