Tennis star Andy Murray is currently in Washington DC as he prepares to participate in the Citi Open. The 36-year-old star, who has been practicing with Grigor Dimitrov interacted with fans during the practice session and was seen signing autographs for them. However, something bizarre happened during his interaction with his fans.
While the former World Number 1 was signing autographs for his admirers, a fan requested him to sign his beer can. Murray didn’t decline his fan’s request and agreed to sign the can. Notably, this would be Murray’s first tournament ever since his Wimbledon 2023 defeat.

The two-time Wimbledon champion lost the second round to Stefanos Tsitsipas 7-6 (7/3), 6-7 (2/7), 4-6, 7-6 (7/3), 6-4 in a match that lasted more than four and a half hours in all. The defeat surely left the three-time Grand Slam champion devastated, and after his defeat, he said that it might be his last Wimbledon.
Not only this but Murray was also seen bidding goodbye to his fans after his loss. Speaking of the forthcoming tournament, Andy Murray, along with Frances Tiafoe will begin their campaigns on August 2, Wednesday. For the Men’s doubles, Murray will team up with Dav Evans and will lock horns with Austin Krajicek and Mate Pavic.
