The cricket celebrity couple, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have been in news lately with rumours of the arrival of their second child. Either of the two have neither denied nor confirmed the news but according to reports, this is said to be the reason of Anushka not travelling with husband and former India captain for the matches of late.

Amidst all this, the Bollywood actress on Monday, October 9 shared a heartfelt post for Virat Kohli after his brilliant knock of 85 to help the side win their opening World Cup game. Anushka took to Instagram stories to share a picture of Virat alongside KL Rahul from this match from the ODI World Cup 2023, staying tight-lipped and only sharing with the blue heart emoji.
Talking about India’s World Cup opener against Australia , the latter won the toss and opted to bat first. The Indian bowlers, especially the spin department with the likes of Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav starred as they restricted to 199 in 49.3 overs at the MA Chidambaram Stadium. While Steve Smith was the top run-scorer for the side (46 off 71 deliveries), Ravindra Jadeja picked up three wickets to finish with the figures of 3/28 in his 10 overs.
Meanwhile, coming out to bat later, the Indian top order of Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan and Shreyas Iyer were dismissed at the score of 0 with the scoreboard reading 2/3 at one point of time. However, it was Virat Kohli and wicketkeeper-batter KL Rahul who steadied the inning, stitching a crucial partnership to take the home team register a six-wicket win.
The Rohit Sharma-led Men in Blue will next travel to Delhi for their second match, which is scheduled to take place on October 11 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium against Afghanistan.
