The 27-year-old Swedish striker Viktor Gyokeres has been the main man for Sporting Club Portugal, leading them in Portuguese League win this season. He has scored a total of 97 goals in 102 appearances across the two seasons. He was the leading goal-scorer for the team in both their title winning seasons. However, ahead of the upcoming season Viktor Gyokeres has made it his priority to leave the Portuguese club and start another chapter in his life with another team.
Arsenal are reportedly confident on completing the deal for Viktor Gyokeres after they came to terms with Sporting CP over a transfer. They want to complete the signing by the end of this week and are reportedly scheduling the medical for the Swedish international. Gyokeres has already agreed to the personal terms and is very keen on joining the Gunners for the upcoming campaign.
