India defeated their arch rivals Pakistan by 5 wickets in a thrilling contest on Sunday with the help of brilliant all-round performance from Hardik Pandya and four-wicket haul from Bhuvneshwar Kumar. India invited Pakistan to bat first and restricted them to a total of 147 runs as the Pakistan batters had no answers to the Indian pace bowling attack.
India's run-chase didn't start pretty well as they lost KL Rahul early for a golden duck but Jadeja-Pandya pair helped them to cross the winning line. Pakistan bowlers did pretty well as they kept putting pressure on Indian batters, especially Naseem Shah. Meanwhile their spin duo Mohammad Nawaz picked 3 key wickets and Shadab Khan bowled the most economical spell among all other Pakistan bowlers.
