The last Super Four fixture of the Asia Cup 2022 witnessed Pakistan and Sri Lanka squaring up against each other. Both teams provided opportunities to their players, who could not be a part of the earlier fixtures. For Pakistan, it was the people's favourite Hasan Ali who replaced Naseem Shah in the line-up.

Batting first, Pakistan scored 121 on the board, with the contributions of Babar Azam (30) and Mohammad Nawaz (26). In response, Sri Lanka had hiccups in the middle, but chased down the score, with Pathum Nissanka (55*) playing an anchor role.

Although the match was a little one-sided at the end, Cricket Twitter was flooded with memes regarding Pakistan's batting performances, which saw them sliding from 63/2 to 121/10.

Although Ali took a blinder to dismiss Dasun Shanaka, he gave away 15 runs off a single over in crunch moments, which triggered the Pakistan fans, who took to Twitter as well. In addition, one of the clips showed skipper Babar hilariously reminding his teammates, that how come the review had been taken without his consent.
