The Basketball Federation of India (BFI) has launched the eFI BA India Qualifiers in collaboration with Jet Skyesports. The qualifiers will select the nation's top NBA 2K24 players, who will go on to represent India in the prestigious eFIBA Season 3, an international esports event held on NBA 2K24.

Check out the eFIBA India Qualifiers schedule and details below.
The eFIBA is organized by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), the main governing body for basketball worldwide.  The eFIBA India Qualifiers will help choose 12 players for Team India, who will then compete in the Asia/Oceania Regional Finals. If Team India wins, they will advance to the World Finals in December, where they will compete for a share of the €50,000 prize pool.

Jet Skyesports, an esports company, will manage the qualifiers in partnership with the BFI. They will host grassroots-level competitions to find India’s top 12 NBA 2K24 players.

Shiva Nandy, Founder and CEO of Skyesports, said, “We are thrilled to partner with the Basketball Federation of India (BFI) as the esports partner for the India Qualifiers in FIBA’s official eFIBA competition. Skyesports was founded with a vision to help aspiring players represent the country internationally, and partnerships like these allow us to stay true to that vision for the gaming community of India. With the recent announcement of the Olympic Esports Games by the IOC, the world is increasingly recognizing esports as a legitimate competition on par with traditional sports, and we are proud to contribute to this global movement.”
