After four days of pulsating video game action, Round 3 of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023, hosted by KRAFTON India, was completed on September 17, Sunday. It saw a lot of well-known teams, including GodLike Esports and Global Esports getting eliminated from the BGIS, before reaching the quarter-finals stage.
TeamXSpark were the top performers from Group 9 of the BGIS 2023, in Round 3 with three Chicken Dinners. They had an epic battle with Numen Esports and Gaming, who finished the round in fourth position without attaining a Chicken Dinner on all four days.
The second place went to Team Mayavi, who improved their play as the Round 3 went on. LOC Esports couldn’t finish the final day of the competition well, yet they managed to secure the fourth spot on the leaderboard in Group 9.
Some of the qualified teams, out of 64 teams, for the quarter-finals in the BGIS 2023 are TeamXSpark, Team Mayavi, Numen Esports and Gaming, LOC Esports, Team Soul, Revenant Esports, Bloodrose Esports, BurnX Official, Gods Reign, IM Officials, Great Esports, Trouble Makerz, Team iNSANE, Brave Esports, ORB Esports, and Hyderabad Hydras, among others.
Furthermore, the teams ranked from 65 to 85 in Round 3 have advanced to the losers brackets, from where they can still reach the finals of BGIS 2023. The quarter-finals of the tournament will begin on September 21, Thursday, onwards, live on JioCinema from 1 PM onwards.
