The fourth and final day of Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024 semifinals week 1 saw Global ESPORTS finish in top spot in the overall standings with 101 points ahead of Team Aaru and Team XSpark scoring 98 and 97.5 points respectively. In the 32-team tournament, Global ESPORTS became the first of eight teams to qualify through to the grand final.
The five teams outside the podium places in the BGIS 2024 semifinals week 1 are IQOO Soul, FS ESPORTS, Vasists ESPORTS, Team Tamilas, and Raven Esports. The list of top eight teams in the overall standings with their respective points are below:
1. Global ESPORTS – 101 Points
2. Team Aaru – 98 Points
3. Team XSpark – 97.5 Points
4. Iqoo Soul – 96 Points
5. FS ESPORTS – 95 Points
6. Vasista ESPORTS – 91.5 Points
7. Team Tamilas – 88 Points
8. Raven Esports – 87.5 Points
The remaining 24 teams from the BGIS 2024 semifinals week 1 are going to play in the semifinals week 2, which will start from June 13 to 16. They will be playing in the double round robin format over four rounds after getting divided in three groups.
There will be 16 matches in each group, out of which the top eight teams will advance to the grand finals. The BGIS 2024 semifinals week 2 will be streamed live on the YouTube channel of the Krafton India Esports with commentary available in both Hindi and English.
