The highly anticipated BGMI 4.0 update is set to release in September 2025, and this brand-new patch will introduce the ghost world into the battlegrounds. The BGMI new update will introduce a Spooky Soiree theme mode, inspired by the world of ghosts. Along with this, players will also get to see many new gameplay features, themed areas & items, vehicles, and more events.
BGMI 4.0 update to bring Spooky Soiree theme mode
As we all know, BGMI adds theme modes in almost every major update, and this time, in the 4.0 update, the developers are giving us the haunting experience in battlegrounds.
BGMI 4.0 is set to introduce the new Spooky Soiree theme mode. In this mode, a haunted mansion will be added to the map as a hotdrop.
About Haunted Mansion
A huge mansion filled with an assortment of peculiar oddities and supernatural decor. The area also includes a botanical garden, a labyrinth, a memorial area, and a plant cultivation area.
There is a magic mirror inside, sealed with treasures and ghosts. Activate it to reveal valuable loot and release the ghosts within. Doing so will also cause the weather to change.
Timid ghosts masquerade as various objects in the environment. Attack them on the approach to force them out of hiding, and they'll leave supplies behind. However, if you don't manage to hit them or attack too carelessly, you'll scare the little ghosts away.
Some crates contain ghosts that will expose the locations of nearby players when opened.
In this BGMI new update, a ghost will follow you everywhere. It is only visible to the player, unless a skill is used, during which it will be visible to everyone.
Players can collect skill items for Ghostie to use, which can be equipped from the backpack.
