One of the most popular battle royale gaming names Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) announced one of their biggest collaborations to blend the cricketing action on the battlefield. In an exciting collaboration, Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) joined hands with Mumbai Indians, the five-time Indian Premier League champions ahead of the 17th edition of the tournament. The collaboration aims to introduce in-game items in BGMI, personifying the spirit of cricket.
The partnership between BGMI and Mumbai Indians was followed by the earlier announcement in September 2023, where they joined hands with Hardik Pandya, the captain of Mumbai Indians. The collaboration enabled players to immerse themselves in the spirit of cricket and evaluate Pandya’s style in the game with customised outfits, specially designed voice packs and emotes.
The cricket-themed collaboration introduced the BGMI Cricket 33 Crate in honour of the Indian all-rounder. Players can expect something similar in BGMI’s partnership with Mumbai Indians during the IPL 2024, which is set to begin on March 22, when the IPL 2024 begins. Both Mumbai Indians and BGMI have their storied history as well as success in the IPL.
