In what seems to be a case of a shocking speed gun error, India pacer Bhuvneshar Kumar clocked a delivery at 201 kmph. The Indian vice-captain on this tour was handed the first over of the innings after Team India had won the toss and opted to bowl. The game was reduced to 12 overs a side and it is in this context that Bhuvi's second ball, which seemed to be bowled at a moderate pace to the naked eye, was shown as being bowled at 201 kmph on the television screens.

This wasn't the only such error as a later delivery was displayed as being clocked at 208 kmph. While the actual speed of the ball is yet to be ascertained, Indian bowlers have been in fine form so far with Bhuvi picking a wicket in the very first over of the innings followed by captain Hardik Pandya getting another one in the second over. Having made early inrolls, Team India would want to dominate the proceedings for the remainder of the match and take a 1-0 lead in the series.
