The first-ever Bihar State Esports Open Championship is slated to take place from December 7 to 28. The tournament is a state-wide competition, with its grand finals scheduled to be hosted on LAN at the Patliputra Sports Complex in Kankarbagh, Patna. The esports competition is divided into three phases - Registration Phase, Online Phase, and Grand Finals.

Also, the Madhya Pradesh government established an esports academy and organised a State Junior Esports Championship.
