The highly anticipated Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2025 is set to kick off on 22 May, featuring 96 invite teams. With a staggering prize pool of INR 2 crore, the tournament will conclude with an intense LAN Grand Finals at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi, scheduled from July 4th to 6th. BMPS 2025: Everything you need to know

BMPS 2025 will take place from 22 May to 6 July, featuring 96 teams fighting for the prestigious title and a massive prize pool. The league phase of the tournament will be played online, while the Grand Finals will take place in an offline LAN in New Delhi.

Format

Round 1:

  • 96 invited teams will be divided into 6 groups of 16 teams each.

  • This round will run for 12 days.

  • Teams will play 6 matches per day.

  • After every 3 days, the groups will be reshuffled.

  • A total of 72 matches will be played in Round 1.

After Round 1:  

  • Top 8 teams will directly qualify for Semifinals Week 1.

  • Teams ranked 9 to 16 will go to Round 3.

  • Teams ranked 17 to 80 will move to Round 2.

  • Teams ranked 81 to 96 will be eliminated.  

Round 2:

  • 64 teams (ranked 17–80 from Round 1) will be divided into 4 groups of 16 through a group draw.

  • Teams will again play 6 matches per day.

  • After 24 matches, the top 40 teams will qualify for Round 3.

  • The bottom 24 teams will be eliminated.  

Round 3:

  • Total 48 teams will compete:

  • 8 teams from Round 1 (ranked 9–16). 40 teams from Round 2.

  • These teams will be split into 3 groups of 16.

  • Matches will be played over 4 days, with groups reshuffled after 2 days.

  • After 24 matches, only the top 24 teams will qualify for the Semifinals Week 1.

  • The bottom 24 teams will be eliminated.  

Semifinals Week 1:

  • 32 teams (8 from Round 1 + 24 from Round 3).

  • These will be divided into 4 groups of 8 teams through a group draw.

  • After playing 24 matches, the top 8 teams will qualify for the Grand Finals.

  • The remaining 24 teams will get one last chance in Semifinals Week 2.

Semifinals Week 2:

  • 24 teams from Week 1 will be split into 3 groups of 8.

  • They will fight again for the remaining 8 slots in the Grand Finals.  

Grand Finals:

  • The top 16 teams of the country will face off in New Delhi.

  • They will compete in 18 intense matches.

  • One team will be crowned the Realme BMPS 2025 Champion.
