Krafton India Esports has dropped the teaser of the highly anticipated Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro League (BMPS) 2025, which is set to kick off on 22 May, featuring 96 pro teams. This will be the second major official tournament of BGMI this year. Check out the teaser of BMPS 2025 below.

On 15 May 2025, Krafton India Esports released the teaser of BMPS 2025 and revealed the number of participating teams and some other details.
On Day 3 of BGIS 2025, Sean Hyunil Sohn, CEO of KRAFTON India, announced the date of the second major tournament of the year, BMPS 2025, which is set to kick off on May 22, with the finals to be played in New Delhi.
BMPS 2025 will be the fourth edition of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series organized by Krafton. This is an invite-only event where top-performing teams from BGIS will compete for glory. The recent winners of the tournament are Team XSpark, Blind Esports, and Team Soul.
Play for a Cause: Players Can Play and Contribute to Raising the BMPS 2025 Prize Pool on Discovery Island by up to 4 Cr.
BGMI has introduced ‘Discovery Island’—a feature that transforms everyday gameplay into a community-powered esports movement. Running from May 17 to July 1, 2025, this limited-time event allows players to earn Exploration Points simply by playing Classic Mode matches. These points contribute to both personal rewards—up to 30 exclusive items, including a permanent BGMI Esports Outfit—and a shared national goal: increasing the BMPS 2025 prize pool. With six collective milestones, the community can boost the prize pool by up to INR 4 crore, in addition to winning individual in-game rewards. As the community progresses, each milestone unlocks more funding, while players earn permanent in-game rewards based on their contributions, making every drop into Erangel, Sanhok, Miramar, and other maps in the classic mode a step toward shaping the future of Indian esports.
