Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant met with a fatal car accident earlier this morning on December 30. The Indian batter was travelling from Delhi to his hometown Roorkee to surprise his mother for the New Year.

The 25-year-old was driving alone when the accident took place on Delhi Dehradun highway. The young cricketer sustained fatal injuries and was taken to MAX Hospital (Dehradun) where he is undergoing treatment. However, the doctors have revealed that the cricketer is in stable condition and the hospital will soon release a detailed medical bulletin on the same shortly.
Meanwhile, Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela shared a cryptic post wishing the wicketkeeper batter speedy recovery after this horrific accident. Rautela shared a picture of herself on the Instagram account with the caption “Praying”.
