Boston Celtics compete in the NBA as a member of the Atlantic division of the Eastern Conference. The Celtics have managed to clinch 18 championships in the NBA and are the most successful team in the league's history. The Boston Celtics have signed a multi-year contract extension with their head coach Joe Mazulla, who led them to over 60 wins per season on average in his first three seasons and helped them secure the NBA Championship in 2024 by defeating the Dallas Mavericks.

According to the latest reports, for the first time in a decade, the Boston Celtics will not be playing on Christmas Day. This would mean that a long streak of the Celtics playing on the most iconic holiday of the year is going to come to an end for the first time since 2015. The fans of the Boston Celtics will not be seen in their famous green jersey, celebrating and supporting their team in the iconic green jersey at the TD Garden in Boston on December 25 this year.
