Armando Broja, the Albanian international, was a striker for the Premier League club Chelsea as recently as yesterday. The 23-year-old spent over 16 years with the North London team progressing through the academy ranks and proving himself step by step. Broja made his first team debut for Chelsea at the age of 18 in the year 2020. The Albanian was often been sent out for loan spells to teams like Southampton, Fulham, and Everton. Broja’s time with the Blues was deeply affected by injuries including a ligament tear in 2022 which saw him gettingf sidelined for nearly a year.

But now, Broja is ready for a new chapter in his career in the Premier League as Burnley have announced the arrival of him at their club. Burnley signed the Albanian on a five-year contract for an undisclosed fee. This is the second signing for Burnley from Chelsea this transfer window as just last week they confirmed the signing of Lesley Ugochukwu from the Blues.

I will be giving my all every time I pull on the famous Claret shirt: Armando Broja

Upon his arrival at Burnley, the 23-year-old stated that it's a really positive time for him to be joining this club ahead of the upcoming Premier League season. The Albanian striker further remarked, "I'm feeling good, I'm ready and I'm excited about the challenge of playing for this club. I can already feel the support from the Burnley fans. I can tell you all that I will be giving my all every time I pull on the famous Claret shirt."

Armando Broja made a total of 38 appearances during his time at Chelsea. The signing of Broja can be considered as the ninth signing for Burnley in this transfer window. While Burnley are currently preparing for their pre-season friendly against Lazio, Broja will be looking to adapt to the squad and gelling up well with the team. This transfer gives a new hope to Burnley in their attack and they will look to make the maximum use of it.
