The English professional boxer Chantelle Cameron has challenged her fierce rival Katie Taylor from Ireland to a rubber match on her X account, to settle the score once and for all. In the year 2023, Cameron and Taylor fought twice inside the squared circle, handing each other their first-ever losses in the professional boxing scene.

On May 20 of this year, Chantelle Cameron defeated Katie Taylor for the undisputed world super-lightweight championship at the 3Arena in Dublin via a majority decision with the judges’ scorecard reading 96-94, 96-94, 95-95. Then, in their rematch on November 23, Katie Taylor managed to put one back on Chantelle Cameron to become the new undisputed world super-lightweight champion via a majority decision with the judges’ scorecard of 98-92, 96-94, 95-95 in front of her fans.
It led to Chantelle Cameron taking to her X account on Saturday, December 9, talking about how she recovered from her first professional boxing loss before laying down the challenge to Katie Taylor to make it a trilogy. She wrote, “Had my break from boxing to clear my head and recover from my first loss. @katie_t86 we both took each others 0, let’s get the trilogy on next. I agreed on the first fight in less than 48 hours no excuses. If you are anything like me you will not want to leave this at 1 -1.”
Katie Taylor to confirm which championship reign she wishes to keep intact
After defeating Chantelle Cameron for the undisputed world super-lightweight championship last month, Katie Taylor became the title holder of two weight divisions at the same time, retaining her status as the undisputed world lightweight champion. But she is currently amid a 15-day extension granted by the WBO Championship Committee chairman Luis Batista-Salas earlier this week to decide which of the two championship reigns she wishes to keep intact shortly.
