The goal created a drama for a moment as it wasn't clear whether the ball cleared the goal line, however it was later allowed.

Jorginho broke the deadlock in the 87th minute as Chelsea were rewarded a penalty when United midfielder Scott McTominay fouled Armando Broja in the box. However, Casemiro rescued a point for Manchester United to keep them one-point behind Chelsea at the fifth place in the Premier League standings.
