In a bizarre incident from the Colombian first division football league, Santa Fe defender Geisson Perea used an unusual and weird strategy to distract his opponent in a match on Monday. The 31-year-old Perea pull down his shorts while standing in the freekick wall to disturb the freekick taker.

During the match, the referee awarded the hosts a freekick in the fourth minute of the game leading Santa Fe to form a defensive wall that included Perea with his teammate, former Aston Villa, West Ham and Watford midfielder Carlos Sanchez, and Harold Rivera. Perea pulled down his shorts and flashed his p*nis to distract the spot kick taker.

However, the defender escaped any booking or fine as the match officials were unable to notice his antics on the ground, but the unacceptable moment was caught on camera.

Santa Fe travelled to Jaguares in the Colombian league on Monday as the home side, Jaguares beat the visitors 2-1. Pablo Rojas' scored in the stoppage time after Santa Fe had been reduced the 10 men following a red card for Juan Camilo Aristazabal Gomez.

Perea, his club and the Colombian FA are yet to comment on the weird free-kick incident as the defender could face possible punishment over his gesture.
