On Saturday, June 1, Jude Bellingham won the UEFA Champions League for the first-time in his young career after Real Madrid defeated his former club Borussia Dortmund 2-0 in the final at Wembley Stadium in London. In the immediate aftermath, Jude Bellingham got his mother a picture with Jose Mourinho, who made a hilarious transfer request to him about coming over to Fenerbahce.
Notably, Jose Mourinho is expected to be the new manager of the Turkish club Fenerbahce, to replace Ismail Kartal, who left his managerial position on Friday, May 31. Fenerbahce had finished in second place in the Turkish Super Lig, three points behind their city rivals Galatasaray despite losing one game and accumulating 99 points in the season.
But, before the supposed unveiling of Jose Mourinho at Fenerbahce, he was covering the UEFA Champions League final for TNT Sports. He went on to have an amazing interaction with Jude Bellingham at the Wembley Stadium after the Real Madrid midfielder asked him to get clicked for a picture with his mother.
When the heartwarming moment went down, Jose Mourinho was at his cheeky best, making a remark about wanting Jude Bellingham to come to Fenerbahce despite knowing that he will be playing for Real Madrid for years to come. The English footballing superstar also went on to reveal a detail about his mother and Jose Mourinho on TNT Sports by saying, “I asked Jose Mourinho for a picture with my mum, she’s fancied him for years!”
Moreover, it was the record 15th UEFA Champions League trophy win for Real Madrid after they defeated Borussia Dortmund in the final of the competition. The victory was secured in the second half through goals from Dani Carvajal and Vinicius Junior.
