Major League Soccer club LAFC will clash against the Mexican side, Leon in the second leg of their CONCACAF Champions League 2022-23 final at the BMO Stadium in Los Angeles on Monday morning. LAFC have had a decent run in the MLS and are currently ranked third in the Western standings while Leon are placed at the sixth spot in the Liga MX, 10 points behind the top-placed Monterrey.
Dénis Bouanga will be the key for LAFC as he is their leading run scorer in the tournament as well as the MLS. After being runners-up in 2020, LAFC will look to get their hands on the silverware in this season. On the other hand, Leon have an advantage of one goal over LAFC from the first leg, which puts them in the driver’s seat. Leon haven’t won the Champions League before either and they will be desperate to get their hands on the maiden title.
