After shattering records in UFC and boxing, the former two-division UFC champion has become the highest-paid debuting actor with his upcoming movie 'Road House' alongside Oscar-nominated Jake Gyllenhaal. The 35-year-old Irish is currently on a promotion spree and sparked a beef with Hollywood actor Sydney Sweeney, who has recently become a red carpet icon following her movie promotions.
The Doug Liman-directed Road House, starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Conor McGregor, Daniela Melchior, J. D. Pardo, Arturo Castro, and Billy Magnussen will be released on March 21, 2024, on Prime Video. The movie, which is the remake of the 1980s film, features Jake Gyllenhaal as Elwood Dalton, while McGregor dons the character of mercenary Knox.
On the other hand, the 26-year-old Sweeney, who is famous for her roles in movies like Euphoria and Anyone But You, has been promoting her new horror film "Immaculate". Sydney took to Instagram to post pictures from her recent red carpet look and promoted her film in the caption as she wrote, "IMMACULATE march 22nd". The movie will be released a day after McGregor's Road House and Conor took the opportunity to promote his film.

On her Instagram post, Conor raised eyebrows with his comment, "Road House March 21st." His comment received over 20k likes and earned the top comment on The White Lotus actress' post.
During a Q&A session on Instagram earlier this month, Conor, who last fought inside the octagon on the UFC 264 card against Dustin Poirier in 2021, losing the fight after breaking his leg, revealed his fight map for 2024 , intending to return to the octagon in three years. The 'Notorious' claimed to fight Michael Chandler on June 29 , followed by Nate Diaz trilogy and a boxing bout against former eight-division World champion Manny Pacquiao .
