Most of the Pakistan cricketers, who were down with fever have reportedly recovered. However, some are still said to be under medical observation. There were rumours that the Pakistan players caught fever after they arrived in Bengaluru for their next clash against Australia. Notably, Men in Green, who are coming off a defeat against the ODI World Cup 2023 hosts, will now lock horns with the five-time champions, Australia, at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, on October 20, Friday.

As per the latest reports by the PTI, there are a few players who have fully recovered from the fever, while others are in the stage of recovery. Ahsan Iftikhar Nagi, Pakistan’s media manager said, “Some players got fever in the past few days and most of them have fully recovered from it. Those who are in the stage of recovery remain under the team medical panel’s observation.” 

He added, “Pakistan will train at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium today from 6-8 pm.”

Not only this, but the member also confirmed that skipper Babar Azam and their spinning hero Shaheen Shah Afridi are doing absolutely fine. Apart from this, the team also engaged in a practice session at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on Tuesday, October 17. 

Speaking of their campaign at the ongoing tournament, the Men in Green got off to a strong start as they defeated Sri Lanka and the Netherlands in Hyderabad. However, they were later beaten by India on October 14 in Ahmedabad.
