While David Warner and SunRisers Hyderabad has been a great athlete and club story over the years, Warner's downfall in the Orange Army hasn't been the most ideal. While he was unceremoniously removed as the captain of the team midway through the first half of IPL 2021, he even failed to cement his place in the XI.
When the season resumed in the UAE, Warner was stuck with for the first two matches but when he departed in the first over on both the occasion, he was replaced by Jason Roy. What was shocking was that Warner wasn't even named in the first set of players who would take the ground and watched his team perform on a television set in his hotel room.
However, that hasn't stopped Warner from supporting the Orange Army. While he was quick to congratulate Roy, who was playing in his place, for scoring a half-century on his debut, he has finally seen in the ground but only as a spectator during Hyderabad's match against the Kolkata Knight Riders.
"We are ready, let's go Sunrisers," he wrote while sharing the picture on his social media profile.

Notably, he was also seen waving the SRH flag from the stands.
Earlier the Australian batter had himself hinted that he might not get a place back in the XI this year due to his poor form. With the mega auctions set to happen ahead of IPL 2022, it looks like there is no place for Warner in SunRisers Hyderabad.
Overall, the southpaw is one of the greats of the tournament with 5449 runs in 150 matches at an average of 41.59 and a strike rate of 139.96. Warner has scored as many as four hundred during the course of his career and has notched up a half-century on 50 occasions.
However, this year he failed to live up to the expectation that his performances had ignited. The New South Wales cricketer managed to accumulate only 195 runs in 8 matches at an average of 24.37 and a strike rate of 107.73.
Warner's poor form has coincided with a poor season for Hyderabad as they have only managed to taste wins in 2 of the 11 matches they have featured in.
