Team India skipper Rohit Sharma was left visibly frustrated with youngster Harshit Rana after the pacer conceded an unnecessary overthrow. For the unversed, Jos Buttler-led England won the toss and elected to bat first in the second ODI against India, underway at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack. While Philip Salt and Ben Duckett added some runs on the board, Joe Root carried that momentum for the visitors.

Moments after Harry brook’s wicket, Rana bowled a brilliant over, but spoiled it with a wild throw at the stumps. England captain defended a delivery to the left of the Indian pacer. Rana in his follow-through collected the ball and gave away needless four runs which resulted in the skipper losing his cool at the pacer as he said, “dimaag kahan hai tera?”

Speaking of the match, after the opening pair stitched 81-run stand for the first wicket, debutant Varun Chakravarthy dismissed Salt with Ravindra Jadeja taking a simple catch. Jadeja and Hardik Pandya’s combined effort then led Duckett end his innings with 56-ball 65. Joe Root continued his brilliant run, scoring a half-century, followed by 30-plus scores from Harry Brook as well as Jos Buttler.
