Want to lift IPL Trophy for Virat Kohli: RCB captain Rajat Patidar
Rajat Patidar has done a great job in his first season as a captain of RCB, leading the franchise to the final. Ahead of the big clash in Ahmedabad on Tuesday. Patidar said that he wants to win the title for Virat Kohli, who has been a part of the franchise since 2008. Kohli has been a part of three IPL finals with RCB in 2009, 2011 and 2016. He was a captain when RCB reached the final in 2016 but ended up being disappointed on all three occasions.
“Of course. I think he (Virat) has given a lot of years to RCB and the international side also. We will try to do our best in the game. We are not looking on the stage that we are in the finals. We will try to play our best cricket. We are not playing here for the stage. I always like to keep things simple,” Patidar said in a press conference ahead of the final.
