A new champion is set to lift the trophy this time as Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Punjab Kings will lock horns in the final of IPL 2025 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on June 3. It is expected to be a thrilling contest in front of around 120,000 spectators and one franchise will finally end their 17-year trophy drought in front of such a huge crowd.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru entered their fourth IPL final and are set to be a part of the title clash for the first time after 2016. On the other hand, Punjab Kings are also playing their second IPL final after 2014. However, it will be interesting to see which team has great records at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad which could also play a key role in a big final. RCB's records at Narendra Modi Stadium
Talking about Royal Challengers Bengaluru, they didn’t have a memorable outing in the last two IPL knockouts they played at the Narendra Modi Stadium. In 2022, they ended up losing against Rajasthan Royals in qualifier two and were eliminated from the tournament ahead of the final. While in 2024, it was RR again who knocked RCB out with a win in the eliminator at the same ground.
Talking about their overall records, RCB have played six IPL matches at Narendra Modi Stadium. Their first match at this ground was against Rajasthan Royals on April 24, 2015 where they registered a convincing nine-wicket win. Overall, RCB ended up winning and losing three matches each at this venue and have a win percentage of 50% in Ahmedabad.

PBKS' records at Narendra Modi Stadium
Punjab Kings have a better record than RCB while playing at Narendra Modi Stadium and have been a part of thrilling encounters at this ground. Their first match at this ground against Rajasthan Royals April 21, 2015 which turned out to be a thriller. PBKS (known as Kings XI Punjab back then) ended up winning the match in super over.
PBKS’ recent game in Ahmedabad was the second qualifier of IPL 2025 against Mumbai Indians where they registered a convincing five-wicket win to enter their second IPL final. Overall, PBKS have been a part of seven IPL matches at Narendra Modi Stadium, out of which, they ended up winning four games and lost three matches with overall winning percentage of 57.14% at this ground.
