DreamHack has announced the complete calendar for 2023 which will include 12 festivals hosted by nine major cities and seven countries from around the globe. One of the locations for a 2023 DreamHack event is to be Hyderabad, India where the event will take place in October next year. The announcement regarding Ticket sales for the event hasn’t been made yet. But if the tournament goes according to its schedule, this will be the first time ever that a DreamHack event would take place in the same Indian city twice in two years.
The 2022 DreamHack was an incredible event for Esports in India. The event was hosted by the Hitex Exhibition Centre, which included everything from PC to mobile titles, console games, retro games and chess. The event also saw a fun meet and greet session that featured multiple members from S8UL.
The VP of Strategy & Growth for DreamHack, Shahin Zarrabi talked about the event will continue its growth globally and will make its debut in San Diego, California, USA and Makuhari, Japan. He said, "With debut appearances in Japan and in San Diego in the U.S., coupled with returns to cities such as Melbourne, Valencia, Hyderabad and Jönköping, 2023 will be the most global and diverse DreamHack tour to date.”
