Despite prior suggestions that she supported Liverpool, pop singer Dua Lipa has uploaded images that showed her adoration towards the current Premier League toppers, Arsenal. Dua Lipa, whose is popular for her songs like 'One Kiss', 'New Rules' among others, has previously referred to herself as a "Honorary Liverpool supporter," yet it appears that she is actually an Arsenal fan.
The pop star, who previously stated her support for Liverpool prior to their matchup with Real Madrid in the 2018 Champions League final, recently shared a selfie on Instagram while watching Arsenal play at the Emirates. Dua Lipa’s brother and father both are ardent Arsenal fans, yet she had claimed to be a Liverpool fan. But it seems that she has started supporting Arsenal.
Dua Lipa posted multiple pictures on her Instagram handle, which indicated that she has changed her allegiance from Liverpool to Arsenal. Liverpool fans might not be too happy with this sudden change of allegiance from the Grammy Award winner artist.
Arsenal are having a dream season in the Premier League as they are placed comfortably at the crest of the table. They are also enjoying a superb 7 match winning streak in the league. Their next fixture is on April 9 against Liverpool and it will be interesting to see who the pop star supports.
On the other hand, Liverpool played a goalless draw against coach-less Chelsea on Tuesday night in the Premier League and are experiencing a frustrating season as they are placed at the eighth spot in the Premier League standings. Also, the Reds crashed out of the UEFA Champions League after losing to Real Madrid 6-2 on aggregate in the Round of 16.
