Last year, the Hundred tournament hosted its inaugural season and it gained popularity and how. This year, England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) have announced the second edition of the popular tournament. Notably, The Hundred is a tournament that includes 100-overs per-side matches with an over comprising of 10 deliveries. Either a bowler can deliver 10 balls on the trot or can get switched after five balls.
The tournament will kick-start on August 3, with the final taking place on September 3 at the Lord’s Cricket Ground. All the teams will battle out eight league-stage matches and the top three will advance to the next stage. While the top-placed team will directly advance to the final clash, the second and third-placed teams will fight it out in the Eliminator clash.
