The 27-year-old has also played for teams like Chelsea & Birmingham City in her career. She has made 49 appearances for the England national team, and played a major role in EURO’s 2022 title win. While she continues to remain a pivotal member, Jess recently revealed that she has been racially abused online during the EURO 2025. The English international had to face a lot of criticism for her performance in the opening match of the European Championship in which England were defeated by France. She took to the social media and expressed stating, “Whilst I feel every fan is entitled to their opinion on performance and result I don’t agree or think it’s ok to target someone’s appearance or race.” Jess announced that she will be taking a break from social media as a measure of protecting herself from all the abuse that she has been facing and will maintain her focus on winning games for the national side.
