Entertainers Cricket League: All you need to know

The Entertainers Cricket League or ECL is a renowned league where we don’t see any renowned or any professional cricketer, but some of the popular influencers who entertain the audience with their content taking on the field. The tennis ball tournament is not played a big cricket grounds but at the indoor stadium with small boundaries.

The first season of ECL was played in 2024 with six teams different cities in India including Bangalore, Delhi, Haryana, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Punjab and Delhi. The tournament features some of the renowned YouTubers and content creators including the likes of Elvish Yadav, Abhishek Malhan, Harsh Beniwal, Munawar Farooqi, Mahesh Keshwala and many more.

The first season was won by Haryanvi Hunters led by Elvish Yadav. They defeated Anurag Dwivedi’s Lucknow Lions by eight wickets to win the maiden title. In the second season in 2025, two new teams were introduced in ECL in 2025 from Rajasthan and Kolkata.

In the second edition of the ECL, Mahesh Keshwala’s Chennai Smashers won the title by defeating Abhishek Malhan’s Bangalore Bashers in the final. The ECL start date for the next season isn’t out yet but the league has acquired a good fanbase in the last two season where the fans can see their favourite content creators in action on the cricketing field.
