AS Roma are set to face Bayer Leverkusen in the leg 1 of the Semi-Finals in the Europa League on Thursday night at Stadio Olimpico, Rome. The Italian side and the German club will take on each other in the semis of the UEL for the second time following their previous meet in the 2022-23 season where Roma progressed to the finals after securing victory by 1-0. 

Daniele De Rossi’s side has maintained an incredible record of reaching the penultimate stage of the major European competition for the fourth consecutive season since the 2020-21 season. On the other hand, Leverkusen reached the semi-final of the European competition in back-to-back seasons for the first time.
