Evan Ferguson, an Irish international footballer, plays as a centre-forward for the Irish national team. He was a key part of Brighton & Hove Albion in the previous seasons. In 2021, Ferguson joined the academy of Brighton and made his Premier League debut in the following year in 2022. The campaign of 2022-23 marked the breakthrough year for Evan Ferguson as he scored 10 goals in 25 appearances, which helped him earn his senior debut for the Ireland national team. He also became Brighton’s youngest ever goal-scorer during that year. He was later loaned out to West Ham during the winter transfer window.
The 20-year-old Evan Ferguson is now ready to start a new chapter in his life in Italy as AS Roma have officially unveiled the 20-year-old as their latest addition. The Irish international has joined the team on a loan deal with an option to buy. He will become the sixth Irish international to play in the Serie A after Roma acquired him on a €3m deal with an option of signing him permanently for €38m. He will be wearing the jersey no.11 during his time at the club.
