Australia concluded their multi format series against West Indies, beating them in the ODI as well as T20I series and drawing the Test series 1-1. While the world champions enjoy some time off the cricket field, Australian skipper Pat Cummins shared a lovely post for his wife as the world celebrates Valentine’s Day on Wednesday, February 14.
While the Aussie pacer captioned the post, “Super-mum, wife, my valentine and apparently a pro-surfer too. Happy Valentines @becky_cummins,” fans were quick to react on the same. Among all the comments, a reply from an Indian fan grabbed the eyeballs and even attracted Pat Cummins’ attention.
A fan named Farhan Khan went overboard as he commented, “I am Indian I love you your wife”, to which the 30-year-old replied, “@farhan_khan_6786 I’ll pass it onto her!” leaving everyone in awe of his sweet gesture.
It is to be noted that the year 2023 has been very special for the Australian skipper as he led the side to the World Test Championships Final, beating India by 209 runs at the iconic Lord’s. He even went onto lift the ODI World Cup 2023 in India, beating the hosts in a thriller at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Cummins was also honoured as the ICC Men’ Cricketer of the Year.
