Rajasthan Royals star batter Yashasvi Jaiswal boasts a record for the fastest-ever fifty in the IPL history. The left-hander smashed a half-century off just 13 balls in a match against Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens on May 11, 2023. Jaiswal went on to score 98*(47) runs hitting 12 fours and five sixes in that game as RR defeated KKR by nine wickets.
KL Rahul comes second in the list of players with the fastest half-century in the IPL history. While playing for Kings XI Punjab (now known as Punjab Kings) in a match against Delhi Capitals during IPL 2018, Rahul completed his half-century under three overs reaching the 50-run mark in just 14 deliveries.

He first smashed a 15-ball fifty in a match against Sunrisers Hyderabad at Arun Jaitley Stadium on April 20, 2024. The right-hander smashed 65 runs off 18 balls which came in a losing cause against SRH.
