Ferrari driver F1 Charles Leclerc, on Instagram, announced his breakup with his girlfriend Charlotte Sine today. The Monegasque driver shared a message regarding the split through an Insta story. Leclerc finished second in the 2022 F1 season behind Red Bull’s Max Verstappen.
Charles Leclerc's ex-girlfriend Charlotte Sine is an architecture student who also is from Monaco. Sine is also a social media influencer and is popular as a model for high-end brands. The couple has announced their breakup, and Leclerc, through his post, requested his fans to give both him and Sine the privacy they need in these difficult times.
The couple reportedly started dating in 2019 and since then she was often seen in the F1 paddock. However, neither Sine nor Leclerc have shared the reasons for their breakup. The Ferrari driver wrote on an Instagram story:
"Hello everyone, Charlotte and I have decided to end our relationship and we remain good friends. We have shared so many great moments and she is and always will be a very special person to me. She is amazing and deserves the best, please respect our decision and her privacy in a time like this. Thank you".
Going back to F1, Leclerc managed to put together a career-best season with the Prancing Horse but still could have achieved even more if he and his team could avoid mistakes. Ferrari had put forth one of the best cars on the grid but was blown out of the Championship race thanks to a dominant Max Verstappen.
The Dutchman, like Leclerc, bettered his championship-winning campaign last year by registering a record for most Grand Prix wins and most points in a single season in 2022. Verstappen won 14 races beating the record set by Michael Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel and had 454 points overtaking Lewis hamilton’s tally of 413 points during his championship-winning season in 2019.
